Katelyn Bensen-Crawford earned an MA in Art Education, BFA in Studio Art and a minor in Art History from Adelphi University in Garden City, NY. She is an abstract painter exploring the interaction of color, line, shape and value. Her paintings are a visual investigation of how she processes, reacts and responds to her world interpersonally and the world externally.
Bensen-Crawford has exhibited in group shows at Adelphi University in Garden City, NY, Mana Contemporary in Jersey City, NJ, Art Fair 14C at the Jersey City Armory, NJ, amungst others. She holds the ESKFF Foundation Residency Award and Conger Goodyear Art History Award from Adelphi University. She has given multiple artist lectures highlighting her artwork. Bensen-Crawford has published works in David Hornung’s, Color Third Edition: A workshop for artists and designers.
